The 2 Methods To Get Rich Young
Ignore what everyone's doing, pick one route and stick to it.
From when I started focusing on money, which was at 14, till now, 19 I’ve realized that there’s really only 2 ways to get rich in the beginning.
I’ve made good money from both and I’m gonna give the essentials on the 2 main ways to start building an empire for yourself when you’re young.
The first, and more capped but under appreciated method is…
Getting a J.O.B. But I would not recommend just any type of work especially when you’re young. Because you’re at the point where you have nothing if you’re just starting.
You haven’t achieved anything, know anything, or have anything to lose.
So you need to get into work that is high risk and/or very developmental to you.
For me I went into Sales, and I recommend everyone starting out in their money earning journey to learn the most important skill in life, sales.
I got pretty good at it within my first couple weeks. Paired with an ok base salary I did pretty well for myself when I was 16. Some weeks I was clearing a 1k for myself.
It was less about the money though for me and more about setting myself up to get rich as a result of learning sales.
Without the skill of sales I would have never been able to build and scale my business.
Normally most don’t go into it. And the reason, I believe as well, is the reason most people don’t like sales. Rejection.
It’s very hard to deal with the amount of rejection in sales. Most people don’t Want to experience that because we’re very lazy in todays age. I’d say it’s because of the beliefs that are pushed on everyone.
From the wealthy saying “money doesn’t make you happy” to the people who own everything saying “you need to live balanced.”
It’s not built to keep the rich rich. But to keep the retards who don’t deserve nor could handle that type of control or wealth, out.
So you need to understand that to get to that level you need to arm yourself with skills to be able to help you get there.
This rant was less to sell you on sales, but more to sell you on the fact you need to able to put yourself in a position where you can overcome fears of not reaching higher in life and also learning the skills to set yourself up with more leverage.
A different version of direct sales would be working for another small to medium business owner, one where you get direct access with the owner, because this is going to be the only way to spend time around someone much richer and more knowledgable than you in the beginning stages.
As a result you’ll learn a lot on top of making money from your time. And you potentially can work your way up or run an important part of the business months from working with them if that’s your goal.
Now of course it will take a lot of effort. Without effort though, you’re only going to prolong the process for yourself.
We’re in the information age, and every business/sales tip and trick seems to get patched or nerfed at some point so you need to be able to switch and do something new when everyone’s doing saturated.
Another plus of working a job is that it’s very easy to get into.
The method that got me the furthest in both money and know-how though was Business.
I’ve started and failed so many from when I stopped sales but eventually I got there from selling window cleaning. And every business I started before this was online and very different.
The reason that this was the first successful business is because it was the closest in experience to what I first had success in (direct sales).
When you start from nothing, it’s hard to make it grow, but when you start from a leveraged position of knowledge, it’s much easier and likely start a business where you make loads more.
The second reason that it worked was because others made money because of it.
The most successful business’s are that ones that make their workers and/or clients wealthy.
I paid everyone a percentage of the work we got done, so there was more incentive for all of us, as well as it let me be way less survival focused, and more growth focused.
A big part of the work for me was making it something to the others who worked with me, an opportunity to learn loads and earn loads too.
When you take this path of money you need to have 2 principles in mind at all times.
How do I increase sales?
How do I improve the customer’s experience?
These are the 2 only focuses in business that you need as everything else will fall in place for you.
My recommendation to achieving this is hiring. In the beginning work with your friends. It’s the easiest way and if you make it fair to the other person as well as being transparent. There will be no chance of falling out as long as you’re both decent people.
By hiring them they can take over one of the 2 principles. Either by getting customers or doing the work.
As I went on I had different titles and ways of fulling these with friends and workers, that is how it all started.
