Steps To Find Your Purpose In Life...

Stop feeling like you're doing everything for nothing

A purpose is bigger than a goal.

And a purpose comes from a similar reason to most goals. I believe I found my purpose when I was around 14. But I didn’t act on it until I was 16-17. And incase you have this limiting belief, you don’t need to wait to start working on your purpose just because you’re young.

For me it came from never wanting to hit a certain low that our family hit, I had no control nor could I really do much. So I always wanted to avoid having this happen to me when I become older.

Now I’ll talk about mine a little down the line. But it’s much better to want something for the sake of never having the opposite. As apposed to wanting something to reach a new high.

And what I mean is that it’s better for you to never want to be living a bad life instead of you wanting something to want to live a grander life.

I never want to hit that low in my life again, I don’t want my future family to go through it, I never want to have to deal with that again…

That is a much greater motivator for me than wanting to push a lambo, and don’t get me wrong I want a lambo in the near future but the first one pushes me more to work harder.

And I’m going to assume that you’re fairly similar to me. You came from a middle class background, in an average environment, who wants a bigger than life existence, etc. Because I don’t really think hedge fund babies or kids with wealthy wealthy parents are watching this.

Think back to that one moment in your life that genuinely fucking sucked, one that you keep trying to suppress or get away from. Use that as your motivator, as reason to work hard on everything you do, to level yourself up. And know that that is what you never want to go through, again.

I’m not gonna ask you to comment it or anything because it should be one of those periods in your life where you want no one to know about. If you do wanna talk about or ask for advice or anything join the community and talk with me or anyone in there.

For me this was mainly a financial problem. For some it could be substances, family, time, what you do for work, etc. There’s so many things that can make someone genuinely hate their life.

Your new focus now should be “how can I get out of this” and the answer is rarely quitting cold turkey, (unless it’s drugs or a bad habit.) For my example money, I knew I had to do something to be able to have enough money to never have to deal with the situation I was in.

So I started working, then went into business and investing. Now the answer will always be simple. Always. The hard part about changing and evolving is doing the work and taking the actions to get to where you want to be. As well figuring out “how.” Luckily I found a mentor who helped me a lot with business and then friends who helped tremendously with business and everything else too.

And what I’ll tell you is, I didn’t have these people in the beginning and you probably don’t either. But you get opportunities, people and chances to get further as soon as you take some action. God rewards those who work. No one was ever given anything without sacrificing something.

And you will not be the exception to the rule. You need to do something, if you do the work or even some action you will get some reward from it. Maybe not instantly but overtime you will.

There’s been so many times where I worked with 0 guarantee of money or reward but those times are what helped me get to where I am today. Too many people get guarantees of results and they still don’t take the action. Please do not be one of those people.

If you can’t give up some pleasures in your life (even when you’re life is shit) you can’t expect to get closer to your purpose, which is getting the opposite of the lowest point in your life.

Everyone has had low points in their lives, and we all will continue to get some here and there, the only hedge you have against it is by setting yourself up as much as you can right now so when the next low comes you can look back and say to yourself “I’ve gotten myself out of a low before, I can do it again.”

Finding purpose isn’t and will not be the hardest part of your life, working for it is. And your purpose is to first get as far away from your lowest point, and then climb higher.
