Never Broke Again
One of the worst situations in life is not having enough money. And you don’t need to have a lifetimes worth of wealth to avoid living a life with financial stress.
You can’t be living pay-check to pay-check either though to avoid it.
Money is not only useful for buying nice things. When you don’t have it you’re more stressed, think less clear, worsen your sleep + life quality. That’s why poor people constantly say they’re “stuck.”
And to live without the negative, again, you don’t need millions. You need to base your life around the future costs.
Step one to being Never Broke Again.
Set yourself up to first achieve not going broke.
The one focus you need is to consistently have money coming in, either from a business, or a job.
My business runs seasonally, and if I did nothing on my off seasons to get money. My ambition, discipline and mind weaken.
If you’re working somewhere where you don’t earn enough and or have the opportunity to earn more, you need to move on.
When you’re young you need to prioritize bringing money in fast (preferably high amounts) and if you’re taking breaks or being lazy, you just set yourself up for a delayed or never coming win.
Currently me and my friends who work with me are branching the seasonal business Blueshine out to the other seasons as irregular, and uncertain income closes your thinking.
So build or get something that can generate income, and consistently.
Keeping an eye on spending will also prevent you from achieving never broke again status.
Live a nice life, but don’t purchase unnecessary services and products. In grade 10 I went broke because of eating out. The next year was because of going out with friends. And the year after was because of low business margins.
At every stage of life it’s easy to blow money, you need self discipline to stop yourself from the crazy spending, and the sooner you focus on it the better.
Because the temptations only get greater and greater as you move up the ladder.
In the past couple years, I never had to worry about money. Not because I have so much to my name but because I do keep my expenses low, spend only on what actually matters and focus on reinvesting my money and time into setting myself up better.
The only way of course to make sure you can spend without total worry is by having a high income.
It’s very important to get your income right so I must bring it up again.
The higher the income, the harder it is to outspend, unless that wealth was a one time event or based on something out of your control.
Working a job can be more profitable in the beginning. It’s only worth it though if you can learn and develop a skill from it.
Because if your work can’t translate into another weapon for older you, then it’s low leverage. You can also gain a very good amount by partnering with someone and working with your friends, they earn, you earn and you get to learn and potentially grow higher with your day ones.
Choosing business.
When you take the business route your only focus should be money coming in. Everything is only based on this. You can only hire based on this factor. And you can only spend a certain amount because of this factor.
And everything you do should be only to increase your number of sales.
When you’re starting the easiest and most effective way is by doing direct sales.
Once you get money from that you can start doing more 1 to many sales. Like customer lists, multiple people doing the direct sales for you, and content.
Leverage is only achieved from outcomes being equal or larger than inputs.
Without leverage you cannot scale, and without the constant increase in scale and goals you’ll become complacent.
Complacency is the easiest way to go broke again, the greatest counter to it is tolerating discomfort longer than others.
The majority of people don’t try, others try, fail and quit.
If you wanna get to the highest point it’ll only be done if you try without giving up.
That’s the only way to increase the odds high enough to the point you get what you want. You improve all your skills and you have more experience.
The way I view it is that if you haven’t shown to yourself that you can handle that amount of wealth far past the point of being never broke again, you won’t have it.
Focus on the fundamental, setting yourself up to never be in a position without money, then spend as if your empire and image depend on it, focus immensely on increasing income and tolerate discomfort longer than others.
I hope this video this helps you with your journey to reaching your purpose.
