How I Made $1,000 A Week In School (Consistently)
Towards the end of grade 11, after a month of working on my business, I had profited my first 1K in a week.
And I remember my 2 other friends who were working with me had also made just under $1000 and we all felt on top of the world. I came to class the next day just thinking, “what can this retard teach me thats gonna help me.” And it’s a bit egotistical but it’s a very nice feeling, and I want you to experience it too because there’s more than enough money in this world for all of us.
And the first thing that actually let me make the money in the first place, was by having something to sell. For my two friends who were also making good money, they had ownership and control over their income and money coming in.
So you can go two ways, either you’re the boss man, so you take all the risk but the most reward, or you can work with someone and be their second or third in command.
For me I went first in command, because the year before I had gotten some experience in sales and I saw how my managers were, I found an amazing mentor and learned a lot before I started however. So if you are kinda newer, or less experienced, try and work for someone. And if you aren’t second or third in the business it’s fine, because at this early stage you should only prioritize setting yourself up to become better as time goes on.
Because no one makes their first million in their first year or two of business. But if you work hard, stay consistent and keep moving up, you’ll get closer and closer to the big bucks as the time goes on.
So that is first, decide how you’ll make money. And the thing that I love about life is that everyone gets what they deserve. If you’re someone who just wants money for material goods or just to seem above others to people, thats ok and you actually can make a good amount of money if thats your goal, but ONLY if you actually work hard.
Especially in school I noticed this too much, EVERYONE has the goal of being rich, but 99.99% of the people I got to talk with in school were all stupid, they wanted money, which is ok, but they don’t put in the work, and they didn’t have good habits.
What I did was I looked at how everyone in my school is, and did the exact opposite. And the habits I noticed and started to focus on were:
Learning about money
Making money-Sales
Keeping money
If you just do that, you will go far, very far. And honestly you can get a lot of money with any business model, and any job (if you get commission, or nice incentives.) So don’t worry too much about what industry you go in. Focus more on the inputs and your skill level.
One thing that happened in my school which is kinda funny, I do window cleaning. When I went back after the summer of grade 11, I kinda got known in school for being the kid who made 50 k with window cleaning. And now there’s so many kids starting window cleaning because they think that that’s what made me rich.
I could have made the same results in any other industry, but the reason I did well, regardless of the business model, was because of who I was and the things I did. I was very hard working firstly, I didn’t stop learning, and I just focused on the main thing that mattered, getting customers to pay me for making them happy.
So a quick recap—
Either go in business for yourself, or work for/with someone else
Understand that big results don’t come instant
The only people that make it are the ones who Actually work
It’s not the job or business model that has you where you are, it’s you…
And that’s essentially the thought process, principles, and how I got to a point where I’ve consistently been making 1k a week in school for the past year now.
Hopefully it helps you, and enjoy the rest of your day and thank you for reading:)
