How To Communicate Value To Customers

Your offer is Good! now how do you tell new customers that?

You’ve worked tremendously hard on making yourself and your offer as valuable as possible and it’s a point where anyone who buys will not regret it.

Now you need to be able to communicate to your potential customers about how valuable it is. You need to transfer your certainty about your offer onto them.

Be it through ads, in person, copy or in text, you need to speak and convey yourself as an expert who people want to work with. No one is buying from a goofy clown who says “yo whats up bro.”

You essentially wanna come as an expert first and foremost. Because if I’m gonna buy say a computer from someone and they don’t know anything about anything, no one will buy. If you can’t explain your offer, and Everything about it clearly, you will have trouble selling.

One thing that instantly fixes this is being confident about your answers. I don’t encourage dishonesty, but, if you don’t know something it’s better to repeat their question and then answer them to the best of your ability with a smile and a confident tone. Over someone who goes “uhhmm” “uhhh” “I think,” etc.

If you’re not sharp and on the balls with how you speak about yourself and the offer, they’ll start Unselling themselves.

You also don’t wanna be some robot. You’re not an AI. You are you. Leave that to chat gpt’s copy writing (which is shit.) Use your personality to your advantage. Most of my sales are in person or through the youtube videos, so people buy because of who I am.

I am cartoony, enthusiastic, sharp, an expert, etc. If you’re older or more philosophical for example, use that your advantage. One of the best sales people I ever met was a bald 40 year old dude who literally gave off serial killer vibes (don’t kill me if you’re reading this pls.)

If someone can tell that you’re faking something because you want a sale, they won’t buy. But if they see you as genuine they’ll tie that with the offer and that will increase the status of that product just as a by-product of you being genuine.

And who you are is literally value to them. Because if someones money is going to spent, they at least would like it to go to someone they like. A lot of Tesla’s have been bought simply because of how likeable Elon is.

Now a lot of people don’t know who they are which sucks but the best way to find your true self in a short sentence is just view yourself as your childhood self. Kids are not self conscious or always worrying about what others are thinking and they aren’t trying to fit in 24/7, they’re fine with playing and just being curious.

Communicate what they want.

To get anyone to do anything appeal to their self interest. The only time someone will do something outside of their self interest is if it can make them feel good, which still is self interest.

Whenever I sell I make it a no-brainer. You get this, that, feel this, lose this, gain this, etc for (insert $ figure.) Speak on benefits.

But now a days the “sell the benefits” is so horribly explained because one guru learns from another and it’s just been so watered down. But essentially benefits are:

  • Everything they get (results, feeling, freed up time, etc)

  • What they no longer need to worry about (time, hassle, error, etc)

  • And a guarantee(optional)

Let’s say a hedge fund or a money manager, you get professional traders to use your money to grow it. You don’t need to do anything yourself, study or spend anytime. And they only get a percentage or paid if your money grows.

Pretty good offer, and if you can say this in a confident tone, be an expert in this with testimonials/proof and you’re genuinely into money, you will get customers.

Testimonials are pretty important, not even to show to others but for yourself. Because if you’ve seen people benefit from what you sell, you will instantly be more certain which then helps you with transferring more of your own certainty to them.

And the best way to do this is to either underprice for the first 5-10 custies or even do it for free, and then ask for real af feedback and ask for some google reviews or testie videos to slap on your website or your instagram page.

I didn’t do this in the beginning but it still worked for me because we didn’t do anything online at the time but I was just so good at conveying my enthusiasm and genuine wanting for them to get a good result that it worked.

Because I always had this view that to get money, the other person needs to get something in exact value or more for the money they spend. So I was genuine and I was ready to deliver everyone a good end result.

So it mainly comes down to how you say your words, over exactly what you say. If you can say exactly what they get and how it benefits them, great. But if you say it in an uncertain or confused tone it wont matter.

If a sad person told you donating makes you happier, you wouldn’t listen or donate. But if someone happy and cheerful says to donate, you’d be more likely to buy.

That’s essentially how I convey value to someone after creating the most valuable product, service or offer I can.

  • Sound like an expert, sharp, and genuine

  • Appeal to their self interests

  • Transfer your certainty to them

  • And close the deal:)
